Disagree? I like what he's doing. By saying he knew, didn't do anything and should have maybe someone else will hear that and when put in that situation they'll do something. If anything Tarantino is admitting to being a coward not pretending to be courageous.
Any time a sexual abuse story comes out we hear all about what the people that weren't involved would have done. I would have kicked Sanduskys ass. I would knock Weinstein out. Yet over and over again, by all different types of people, we see people ignore it, turn the other way. Whether it's the victims or just the people around them this kind of crime makes people shy away.
I can say now if put in this position I would do something. Not because I'm Tac-Town tuff or a fucking hero but because I've seen other people not do it and how destructive that can be. How the abusers don't stop at one, they pile up victims until they get caught or die. It was once easy to look the other way. To think it was a misunderstanding, you're friend wouldn't do that, it was a one time thing. But it's not that way anymore.
Plus, he made From Dusk Till Dawn, man. Can't be mad at him. Have you seen that Selma Hayek scene?
