With 6 games I think we can start judging this defense. Is 2017 Defense better than 2016 Defense (With Joe Mathis and without Joe Mathis)?

Without a Stanford & Oregon ass whipping at this point, LIPO.

I think the front 7 is at least as good. D-line is better. The most glaring defensive difference I've noticed in DB play in the flats and screens. SMFJ, LAN and Butta were so damned fast coming up in support.

Myles Bryant comes flying in on those, but is at best 1/5 for actually making a stopping tackle.
