agreed but we need both, ideally ready to go once bye week ends.
This. Both are needed. They are an OR with Bryant an AND.

It’s been said before, but Dissly’s blocking is phenemonal. He is collapsing or blowing out the edge every time. Monster.

Biggest question is who the starting LT will be in 2018 since Adams will likely head to the NFL.

Sosebee is decent so far, hopefully he rounds out his game by the time UCLA and Stanford come around.

Move McGary to LT and put someone at RT might make a lot of sense

    Sosebee has played fine

Time to recalibrate the expectations meter from 2011 to 2017.
He's played fine by worst-starting-lineman-on-the-team standards. Unless we think all five guys are going to make the All Pac-12 list, somebody has to take that role.
    HE PLAYED FINE!!!!

    SOMEONE HAS TO SUCK!!!

    These are great points.
    I love you Dennis.

And just so we're clear, everyone: Sosebee has not been fine. He's been bad. HTH.
He's been inconsistent. First halves of Colorado & Oregon State were bad. Second halves, better.

    Which is to say, bad.

He's constantly getting pushed into the backfield by smaller players, and looks like a lumbering moron every time they ask him to pull. He's been a consistent weak link in the run game.

I expect more from Harris as well. He is great whenever asked to pull but is just not a good pass blocker yet

He'll be a better fit at center where he can combo block. I think. If he can start to figure shit out throughout the year then pass blocking as a center should be a cake walk, comparatively speaking. At least in the Pac-12 where we have the only two nose tackles who can pass rush worth a damn. Against a playoff team is obviously a different story.

Does the 2deep reflect injuries? Is sample getting eased back?

Dude Dissly playing his ass off. I would put him ahead of sample right now
Dissly and sample double tight end with bryant at H back would make me forget about our lack of depth at WR

And the doog boners would be at an all time high
You forget our genious OC forgets that the TE position exists

    Better description of Sosebee.

Hopefully he will become more consistent while pushing up his ceiling.

    2018 OL:

    LT: McGary?
    LG: Sosebee / Twattenburg
    C: Harris
    RG: Henry Roberts / Burleson
RT: Henry B. or Jaxson Kirkland?

    Sosebee has played fine

I love this on paper. But does Bryant have the ability to blow up a linebacker in space on a lead or wrap block? He certainly has the physical ability, but I am not sure about the technique and want to.

Pretty sure after dissly sample and a pulling Harris take out the edge of the front 7, he can take care of a DB
