This makes sense. Our game against Cal will most likely be a clown-stomping, but there will at least be intrigue if Cal is 4-1 coming into the game. If they're 3-2, they might as well show up in a hearst and TV watchers won't give a fuck about the game. Oregon against a 4-1 WSU will be the more interesting game regardless, but if Oregon is 3-2 then that's just another TV filler game to be shelved to the later slot.
