It’s not talking shit or negative recruiting when dropping factsNorwegianHusky said:
It honestly wouldn't surprise me. He loves to talk shit, especially after our yearly beatdown of the Coog.Edwin_Bambino said:Where are some ND fans getting the perception that Jimmy Lake is a shady recruiter? I’ve genuinely never heard anyone or any fan base accuse him of that before.
After he made that comment about what their offense would look like against an NFL defense, it wouldn't shock me if he compared his success with putting guys in NFL compared to coaches at other teams.
"I put three guys in the NFL last year alone. How many DBs from Notre Dame are playing in the NFL right now?"
A lot of people would call that negative recruiting. I would say they might have a point. I would also say it's fair to talk shit when you've won. Lake has earned the right to do it. -
If I'm trying get a GOOD education and GOOD I would definitely go to buttfuck, Indiana.

Ignorant fucks confusing us with the coog. God please let us destroy them in Glendale!Edwin_Bambino said:
What up with the abundance of Husky fans thinking their some national power? They literally play no one and got blown out by Cal? Really hope Kyler picks ND just to get under their skin.RhythmicSlappingDawg said:
Screenshots?Edwin_Bambino said:Also just went over to the ND 247 board. Some pretty funny comments about how delusional Dawgman posters are. If they saw HH I think some of their heads would explode.

And I somehow deleted that long ass post when I tried to edit it. Fuck me.

I said Jimmy has earned the right to talk shit, so you're not contradicting me at all there.Tequilla said:

However, saying "that guy can't coach", or "that guy is leaving" is exactly what people mean when they talk about negative recruiting.
What's funny here is that according to this ND guy, Lake has a reputation for negative recruiting, when we know other programs do it against him, saying that he's going to leave.
Saying that Lake is a negative recruiter may or may not be true, but even if it is, it's hypocritical as all get out. -
Here it is again. See some of the ND poster comments below.Edwin_Bambino said:And I somehow deleted that long ass post when I tried to edit it. Fuck me.
UWs lead recruiter for him, Jimmy Lakes, is a big POS
OK!
Man, they really have some pathetic fans up there
On that we can agree, Dawgman does have a lot of pathetic fans.
Would rather have Lyght than Lake.
I would also rather go to Applebee's than French Laundy.
Pretty sure Bama beat the shit outta them the last time they played
We have that in common!
Because Lake isn't sustainable as a coach at a place like ND. The negative recruiting and rumors of cheating wouldn't fly at ND. He's a shady dude.
ND is such a classy program they definitely have not had a major academic cheating scandal related to their football team in the last five years.
I would like for ND to play against the Huskies in the future. That’s for damn sure.
Would love to stomp ND.

Our one common opponent this year is Stanford. ND lost by ten more points than UW but they had to travel from farther away so clearly a better loss for them.
Agree. I’ve been checking out their board and they seem to think Washington is a national power for football. LOL I realize ND hasn’t been a top tier program recently, but Washington will never be Notre Dame
I am in my late 20's ND hasn't been a top tier program my entire life.
Somebody should ask them, and Kyler....How many people do you know in your community, in your group of friends, who graduated from UW? I'm sure there is a good amount of people....Then ask, who do you know that graduated from ND?....I bet not to many, 1 maybe. Going to UW, that's not unique. probably a bunch of kids in his graduating class going there. Hope he chooses to take the opportunity to do something different than what the avg kid from his area is doing. He isn't an average kid, and ND isn't an average place.
Some ND fans clearly are delusional and think that their program and Alabama are essentially equals. Pretty bold move for a program who has spent the last 20 years getting stomped in every bowl game they have played. Also in full transparency some of those comments were in direct response to a poorly written UW fan troll post. Some of their fans are more reasonable.
Have to be able to combat it, but how can ND when Washington says close to home, and check our secondary player developement under Lake compared to Lyght... Sidney Jones, Buddha baker, peters, etc... Peterson more stable and long term than Kelly, those are facts that are hard to counter -
Wiltfong - "I still like Washington with the plan for him to sign Wednesday. We'll see what happens."
He's leaning towards UW but obviously not as certain as Irvin to ND so no CB. -
Wiltfong already has him CB'd to WashingtonFKA_Mousecop said:Wiltfong - "I still like Washington with the plan for him to sign Wednesday. We'll see what happens."

If Wiltfong goes 0/2 with both Togiai and Gordon...

Good call, Probably should've clarified that for myself rather than assuming.Neighbor2972 said:
