The worst part of the whole deal is now UW has to keep Damon employed for the next 3 years.
and?
welcome to big boy football.
fucking hell...you guys complain about how we don't compete with Marlon's family, Togiai's coach, and Kaho's family and then when there's a possibility we will for Huard, you say the opposite. Can't beat the doogs out of some of you no matter what.
I have to assume this is a whoosh. Firing Chuck Nelson to hire Damon Huard was one of the biggest abortions in UW football history. Even Bob Rondeau would agree. Damon makes Jim Walden as an analyst look good.
I have to come clean. Listening to Jim Walden was one of my greatest guilty pleasures.
Finally got around to watching it, just insane. Try and find a throw where his receiver has to break stride, because you won't. Unfair accuracy
Yep that’s my biggest takeaway too, like two balls where the receiver had to stretch at the last second to catch up to it, zero where they had to slow down, zero where they had to dive, slide, or jump.
Now he was under very little pressure but still. Kid looks amazing.

Who the fuck listens to radio broadcasts anymore? They could trot out stuttering Hugh Millen as the color guy for all I care.

I’ll preface this poast by saying I don’t know shit.
But all I hear from everyone is that this kid is a lock to cum here. As a fan who was born 7 months before his dad’s dick six, im not very optimistic about any recruit especially highly ranked ones from Washington because from what I’ve seen in my lifetime, why the fucc should I be?
I hope he’s an absolute lock & hope he lives up to what his film has shown, but I’ve heard Brock talk a lot about pressure and this notion that he completely made up out of thin air called “Huard Fatigue” and it almost scared the gay AIDS right up out of me.
I’m as pessimistic as possible so I’m gonna assume like I do with all nationally coveted prospects from Washington that he’ll go to Stanford or USC or some random ass school like Georgia (just to cum back and tease me while I watch Jake Browning do the equivalent of burning down my house with all my drugs inside) but lemme know when he commits so I can return alive from what is called a suicide camp where it’s basically a 2 year Rocky montage training video but instead of training you learn every single way possible to rid yourself from this earth.
If he doesn’t commit well... I can send you all a brochure so you can check out the course or the accelerated course that is also offered that I’m enrolled in part time just in case Tosh gets to Tuitele or Sav’ell.
Thank you so much for your service here ... reading new levels of depression that are different from those that @Dennis_DeYoung has has a warm spot in my Grinch heart.
While I'm not a massively engaged TBS'er, I have seen some of Huard's film and watched him during some games and to say that he's impressive is an understatement. It's one thing to see a guy who is surrounded by elite talent and they help him look good. But when I watch Huard, I see a kid that rarely, and I mean rarely, misses a throw. He throws all levels of throws already and most importantly does so with varying degrees of velocity that shows that he really understands how to throw a catchable ball ... which is very important to me as this is what leads to a lot of big gains by allowing the receivers to run after the catch.
The fact that Uncle Brock has talked about "Huard fatigue" I think is really overstated but understand where that's coming from.
Between Damon and Brock, Brock definitely had more talent in my mind. Damon had more talent than a try hard but he really came off to me as a try hard. Brock always had the arm talent (and I see a lot more of Brock in Sam than I do Damon). Brock kind of had bad luck in the sense that he felt the brunt of the scholarship limitations as the depth he was surrounded with took a step back at times with injuries. If you go watch early Brock vs later Brock you'll notice a big difference with him throwing off the back foot. I think that experience is what really got him in bad shape, into his own mind, and why there was a lot of pressure on Brock by the UW fans as they could see that he seemed to stall (or go slightly backwards) ... in a lot of ways similar to Jake Browning.
I think the only thing that you have to pay attention to with Sam Huard is does he max out his talent level in high school or does he continue to grow over time. Assuming he does, I suspect that he'll run circles around both Dad and his Uncles in terms of ability.

The “Huard fatigue” Brock has talked about is specifically in relation to Luke. If he had come here we would have potentially been entering year 7 in a row of a Huard at QB. Given that both Damon and Brock’s careers coincided with the down slide of our program, it’s no secret that a lot of fans did not want to see a third straight starting QB from the same family.
None of that has anything to do with Sam. There is no Huard fatigue anymore because that was 20 fucking years ago, and you grossly misunderstood Brock if you think he was referring to Sam when he brought that up. He’s coming to UW, there’s never been a more sure thing in the history of UW recruiting.

I’m going back for round two after a 15 minute nap and a smoke....
Me, next __________ months: Why hasn’t Huard committed yet? Why hasn’t Huard committed yet? Why hasn’t Huard committed yet?
Please commit soon Sam!! TYIAFYS!
Compare WR’s. Who will recruit better talent to the position?
Which school gives out Wine degrees?
Obvious answer is obvious.
