Thoughts from Friday:

If you have a chance to watch a home game for Eastern Michigan, don't do it. Permanent eye damage will result. The scenario on Friday was Charlotte wearing off-white on a gray turf field with Eastern Michigan in dark green. It looked like a colorized version of a Turner Network Classic where only half of the images on the screen actually got the benefit of being colorized.

An idea for the next ESPN 30 for 30: "Jerry Kill, the Last Seizure". Seriously, this dude is gonna die right before a live audience on some Saturday and then we'll spend the rest of the season sending T's and P's to everyone suffering from losing him (which at this point, given his college football travels, will entail virtually every FCS and FBS team). Over/under on sideline reports of Jerry Kill being taken off the field via cart/ambulance this season is 3.

If the AllState ad on the net behind the goal posts actually obstructs the view of the kick, is it a promotional advantage for AllState or does it cost them business?

Wisconsin has a guy named Quintez Cephus. Key and Peele are wishing that they could have come up with that one.

Joey Freshwater has assembled a staff at FAU that would most appropriately be named "Staff of the Misfit Football Families". Here's who he's got guiding the ship: Chris Kiffen, Charlie Weis, Jr. and top-notch gang rape proponent, Kendal Briles. If things don't go well, finding someone to fire shouldn't be a problem.

Here's your lineup of sideline reporters for Friday night ... (if you want to avoid nightmares, avert your eyes):

Ashley Adamson - Fox

Tiffany Greene - ESPNU

Cindy Brunson - ESPN

Jenny Taft - FS1

And if you can get through that genetic bouillabaisse without having to double up on your dose of Viagra, here's Molly McGrath who saved the entire night by doing the jump-around in the Wisconsin student section. Someone in the booth at ESPN managed to remind the powers that be that hot chicks doing hot chick things still sells:

Go here for the jump-around ... it's worth it ...
