That's an NFL rule. We changed in 09 then in 10. Also in 01 and in 03. The piping went from gold to purple on the whites.

Yep, definitely not a college rule, there basically are no rules for colleges, they can wear as many clown suits as they want and change them as often as they want.

My hunch is Petersen couldn't tell you the details of the uniform other than the colora. As in he's got better things to worry about.
