I went to one of the first few back in the 90's. It was a lot of fun, and about 5% the crowd. Just like anything else, it gets mainstream and loses the fun DIY aspect. When I heard about celebrity "glamping" tents and a private airstrip a couple of years ago I knew it was over. Things like this actually give me hope, and would probably give you herpes and/or chlamydia.
