That is one random-ass group of schoolsDoogCourics said:Mayhaps I'm wrong about falling in love with recruiting. He spoke with an Arkansas writer:
"Washington, I'd say from the West Coast. Then Minnesota, Nebraska, UCF and Arkansas," Delgado noted.
The No. 30 overall wide receiver on the industry-generated 247Sports Composite said he feels at home when he's at Chris Petersen's program.
"Every time I'm up there, it feels like love," Delgado said. "The coaching staff is a lot different from some of the coaching staffs I've met. When you're being recruited, you definitely get a feel for what coaches are real, what coaches are fake and you definitely get a good vibe from them. It feels like home.
"I feel really comfortable up there. I've been up there more than any other school I've been to. The coaches always show love. They help me with anything and it really feels like family up there." -
It would be fitting if he included alaska-ankorage too.bananasnblondes said:

Actually lends some credence to his own assertion that he can judge people well. Minnesota stands out a little bit. I mean, Fleck is a salesman, but he seems like he genuinely cares. If Delgado didn't care about coaching he would have the LA schools and Oregon on there.bananasnblondes said:

Agreed. Minnesota is going to end up with a solid class. Good academics too.NorwegianHusky said:

Does Fleck have some personal connection to the Minn job? That's a great hire for them, he definitely could have held out for a better program.

"family emergency"
Maybe we feel pretty good about Pittman and Puka -
Pete: "Hey, Josh. The darndest thing happened. Kind of embarrassing really. There was a mixup in the camp t-shirt orders and yours didn't arrive. We can't have you come all the way out here and not get a t-shirt so here's what we'll do. We'd love to have you come out, say...mid February and we'll make sure we have that t-shirt for you. Thanks, buddy."Neighbor2972 said:

I wasn't comparing Delgado to Ngata. Come on, man. I'm just saying that once Ngata commits to Clemson, and Nakua to USC, we're gonna be standing there with our dick on our hand cause there's nobody else.Dennis_DeYoung said:

I don't know what my point was exactly, except that it's gonna fucking suck when Ngata goes to Clemson. I like Taj Davis more than Delgado. Delgado is like Aaron Fuller or whatever, but even Davis is nowhere near Ngata. -
I guess I think of it like this: is Delgado the kind of kid that improves our team or just keeps it around where we are? And for me, it's the latter - so I just can't get a boner.NorwegianHusky said:

Pittman is not Aaron Fuller. He is Steve Smith.

Agreed, he wouldn't be a huge piece to you guys. For Oregon he would be the slot/fly guy that Charles Nelson before and Michael Redd now plays. His Sparq score is really high so that fits the position.Dennis_DeYoung said:

I like the kid from vancouver better than delgado but we may be crooting him as a db. if we are scrambling at the end taking random wr's this is gay. If we aren't, then i can accept it.

You WR coach is really good at coaching WR's, but he's not very good at getting WR's to come play for him.NorwegianHusky said:

When your WR room is lead by fags like Baccellia, Pounds, and Chin its no surprise that the WR production outside of Pettis was dogshit. Pease left an absolute shit show at WR and I know most people here hate hearing this but its going to take Bynum, Cook, Jones, and the incoming frosh some time before they start lighting it up. IMO Lubick did an admirable job coaching last year after the situation he inherited.AtomicDawg said:

It should not have been a strength of the team by any means last year. But there should have been some production from 1 or more of the young guys given the lack of talent in front of them. There wasn't and they didn't, therefore they sucked.purpledoogfan said:

Let's see how that group does this year.
