The problem with recruiting rankings is it gives too much weight to quantity over quality. Sark had good recruiting rankings because he needed 25 kids each year cause 12 kids the last 2 classes didn't even play. Where Petersen can only take 15-18 a year because his kids actually stay on the roster.
