There's nothing surprising here as the Seattle AAU scene is a dumpster fire and they viewed LoRo as their Godfather ...
Hop will be building out our roster outside of the region while Conroy/Dollar try to do some self repair locally.
I've got nothing against Andy Enfield as a coach ... I thought it was a bunch of shit when he took the SC job that people thought he'd never be successful. That being said, given Hop's pedigree tied to Syracuse and USA Basketball, I'd still rather hitch my future to Hop.
The hope is that the football AAU game doesn't fall to shit either ... it appears as if the TFP group is working hard to make sure that the guys that work under them do the little things and it doesn't hurt that they are well aligned with what Pete and Co. are doing.
But as we saw with Harrison, there's a competing underwear Olympics group out of Seattle that doesn't share those values and there is growing tension between those groups.
UW needs maybe 2 big PFs next year, or 1 PF and a PG, not another small SG. Half the team are SGs. Unless someone transfers, there's maybe only 1-2 slots. UW should have brought in that J'Raan Brooks guy tho. To be fair, Conroy should donate his paycheck back to the UW AD.
