There's definitely ground to make up ... But the flip side of this is that this final OV he's deciding between us/LSU appears to be the last one he'll take, and if he's calling out liking the environment from our Spring Fling... You have to like our odds knowing that 1.) It seems like he's drawn more to staying out West and 2.) Obviously being sarcastic, and of course we have no shot. But this is a 3 horse race between Ohio State, UCLA, and UDUB from sources close to the family. And of course we’re fucked I’m a millennial Doog who just saw Savell get convinced UDUB is racist by residents of Eugene, Oregon, we are always fucked. But what is a good sign is that Pete is realizing that early relationships keep you around. KB being one of if not the first coach he had a relationship as a FROSH is the only reason we were even lucky enough to know we existed.
UCLA has always been the leader in this which speaks to the type of kid he is. He lives in LA initially as a baby before moving at a very young age & wears number 5 because he’s so obsessed with Reggie Bush. The fact he’s loved UCLA this whole time over USC doesn’t give me “the warm & fuzzies” about how he feels about USC. We go after UCLA kids, Oregon goes after USC kids. Ohio State dropped an RB to make Bijan their number 1 priority and that’s by far the toughest opponent. Texas is slow playing him for Zach Evans and he isn’t happy about it. OU already has their commit and Ohio State already has his backup committed. Gotta get Matteo Mele to make this for sure this is UCLA vs UDUB. -
