This helps GM. Anyone that knows anything about diesel trucks know that the EGR and DEF shit cuts your engine life in half along with crushing fuel mileage because of the extra amount used during regen.

My 5.9 Cummins HO with zero emissions garbage will go 500k miles before a rebuild averaging 19mpg towing a 5k pound bass boat. While the new 6.7 Cummins with all the bullshit on it will get 250k miles before rebuild and average 12mpg towing 5k pounds.

All of the advantages of owning a diesel truck are being erased. If the same version of something from a decade ago blows away the current model you're heading the way of the dinosaur.
