Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
Hypothetical:
City of Portland parking enforcement writes a ticket on a Washington state licensed vehicle that is legally parked. Only issue is that the car's tabs are expired.
Is this a valid ticket? Can City of Portland legally enforce Washington state law?
As always, axing for a fren.

"All cars on public roadways must have current valid registration"
So the Oregon law would apply regardless of where the car should be registered
I do feel safer knowing your fren was ticketed- many thanks to that brave officer !!!
HTH
The sad truth is if the ticket is ignored, Oregon may eventually contact Washington DMV to suspend OP's license
OP will be stopped for tail light out and learn his license is not valid, officer may have option of towing vehicle and taking OP to jail
Just like those law and order lovers want it
Chinteresting.
You'll get out of it if you want to spend the time. Unfortunately for me, it costs me more in time to fight that shit then the ticket is.

You completely missed the point. As. Always.
