No, I only want OKG's. And we are leveling up only going after OKG's. It can be done.LaMichael_Corleone said:Mosster47 said:
It's no TCU helmet with an early 2000's uniform design, but it will have to do.
It appears he might like to be recruited.
If we’re going to level up into a national program like Bama, Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia, USC, we are going to be going after a lot of kids who “like being recruited”. We can’t just be satisfied with kids who commit a year early or are quiet like Sean Rhyan we have to be able to go after all different personalities.
If we are stubborn about the type of kids we go after and continue to chase off high ceiling talent, we’ll end up looking like boring ass Stanford.
Who is being chased off?
And sorry lemme get this straight. If Kyle Ford wasn’t an OKG and said he was coming to udub but wanted to string out the process and commit late, you wouldn’t want him cuz he’s not an “OKG” even tho he has high interest in UDUB?
If jadeveon clowney said he was going to commit to udub but had to wait till the all American game and after all his visits you wouldn’t want him?
Saying you only want one type of person is saying you’ll only take round pegs even if the square pegs are twice as good as the round pegs but just need the hole to be more adaptable and can shave off some of the edges once he gets in the system with his brothers on the team. It’s what gives your team a low ceiling like Stanford who has to do it based on their academic policies and their emotionally sociopathic coach.
If that’s what you want that’s fine but I think Pete is such a good person and talent developer that he can make talented square pegs work.

What are you talking about? A kid wanting to have a special and memorable commitment has nothing to do with who he is as a person. Ford is an OKG and so is every other elite player UW is recruiting. At this point in the process, all the non-OKG's who have received offers have been weeded out.LaMichael_Corleone said:StrongArmCobra said:

If a kid wants to commit to UW and still take other visits he will be told to take those other visits first and then commit. If your argument is UW needs to take half ass commitments from kids who then go on to take other visits in order to get elite talent. you're wrong, they don't.
There are enough elite players who are OKG's in UW's recruiting footprint for them to recruit and sign and continue to level up the roster talent. OKG's are not "one type of person". They absolutely have different types of personalities and can come from different backgrounds and cultures. The point is that they're good people that other players who are good people want to be around and play with.
There's no sense in recruiting Chris Steele who's a narcissistic, attention whore diva (who's going to be committing to his third school before he signs) when you can recruit Trent McDuffie instead. McDuffie is an equal if not superior talent AND seems like a more mature and well rounded person. Why the fuck would anybody want Steele over McDuffie? They wouldn't.
It's not difficult. Elite talent + good people = OKG's. There are enough OKG's out there for UW to get and because they have leveled up their recruiting they can get exlusively OKG's and no longer have to take chances on borderline/risky guys like Darren Gardinhire, Naijel Hale, and Kentrell Love. -
Don't want to wade into a Ballz/Corleone spaz fest but wtf are you talking about?LaMichael_Corleone said:StrongArmCobra said:

Who is being chased off?
Tre’shaun, Merlin, DJ Rogers, gee Scott anyone who could replace kyler manu.
And that’s not necessarily true. Julius Irvin is not an OKG neither were Budda, Kevin king, azeem, Keishawn, JoJo Mathis. And we actually leveled down in 2015-2016 until we picked it back up in 2017
And don’t say “oh Myles and rapp were in those classes and they’re good” you have to acquire talent AND depth especially upfront where injuries are so prevelant. Ricky McCoy? Jason scrempos? Hilbers who now has to be relied on and such a valuable spot cuz we didn’t get foster. That kinda of stuff. -
Wading into anything with ballz is normally a bad idea... unless you’re into the kinda stuff. #nojudgementzone

I have no fucking idea dood. I respond to something he says. He doesn’t read what I say. Then goes on a tangent of nonsense that isn’t applied to what I said whatsoever. Then tops it off by proving he has never played high level football by saying Mcduffie is better than Chris Steele. I’m just as confused as all of you.FremontTroll said:

He's a fucking idiot. He just threw out a bunch of random names of former black players and said they weren't OKG's.FremontTroll said:

Then he bitches about the recruiting of Scrempos, McCoy, and Hilbers. One, the program sucked back when those guys were recruited and they were the best guys we could get at the time. Two, Hilbers is fucking good. He's filled in for Adams nicely and there is a big drop off between him and 4-star high school All-American Henry Roberts. Fuck off. -
Have you guys ever seen bum fights because I have a great idea...

@CokeGreaterThanPepsi @Dennis_DeYoung look what you’ve created

OKG’s are great but at their root they’re OK. Lets roll the dice a couple of times and take some G’s.

Yeah I’m watching some right now at med school while strong arm is watching the same videos at a public library that kicks him out regularly for watching porn without headphones on.
