But how is LeBron still a bitch after all these years?
Not watching, what happened?
11 points, 4-13, totally invisible in a blown 21 point lead at home.
Won't change anything as far as the ultimate outcome, but I'm glad the Celtics salvaged some pride.
Bron probably goes off in game 4, but this is just another data point for why LeBron will never eclipse Jordan for me anyway. Can't imagine Jordan forgetting to show up in a conference finals game like that.

And Tequilla was right about Isaiah too. They won without him!
I know you're being sarcastic, but it's just like the Spurs winning the OT game against Houston without Kawhi.
You can rally after losing a star for a game, but talent always wins out in the end. The Spurs are much better with Kawhi. The Celtics are much better with IT.

Kawhi's a legit Top 5 player in the league and my choice for MVP this year for taking a team that really isn't spectacular to 60+ wins.
Yes Boston got some good shooting performances tonight from Smart (he's a gamer - part of the reason I like him so much) and Jerebko coming in strong off the bench. I thought they made up a lot of the offensive slack without IT through better ball movement that took advantage of the fact that Cleveland's not a great defensive team if you can really move the ball. But where Boston really was significantly better tonight was defensively. They did make some adjustments against LBJ and it certainly helped that he wasn't exactly feeling it tonight. But where Cleveland really killed Boston in Boston was dictating defensive switches and then just abusing Boston from there (which included IT). Tonight, there were far less opportunity for Cleveland to create massive mismatches.
Skill is great ... but the ability to compete goes a long way. As Brad Stevens said during one of his mic'ed up moments tonight, if Boston outcompeted Cleveland they'd fold ... they did. Cleveland's been front running like a drunken Sark team for a while now ... they got punched in the mouth tonight and didn't respond well at all.
Lebron played bad in a meaningless game. He probably figured he could rest up a bit and let his team win the game rather easily... which is what was happening the Best Boston got hot, shit happens. Lebron took blame for it he knows he should have put his foot on the gas pedal.
Part of Lebrons playoff strategy now at his age is knowing when to be able to relax. I'm sure he will turn it on the next two games and beat the Celtics by 20+ both games.
Last night doesn't mean the Celtics are better without IT nor does it mean that Lebron is bad in the playoffs. Overreaction Monday.

Have this debate with a friend all the time - he says LBJ is so good it doesn't matter that he falters in big moments and doesn't hit late game shots
A..a...ag...agree with Tequilla, it's a big fucking deal

Or James is mad at someone and decided to have a teachable moment

Good first quarter by the Celtics. I love the Celtics role players.
