I'll never tire of remembering this:

"They broke the Stanford/Oregon stranglehold on the conference by crushing both teams"

Agree. It was really impressive the way Washington State rolled those two teams last year.
What team do you cheer for? Do you enjoy college football? Why are you here?

    31,000 posts holy fucking shit
    I cheer for Washington.

    That article was fucking stupid.

    Hope this helps.
Notice he didn't answer if he enjoys college football.

Agreed. UW wasn't a bad team last year, but they played two good teams and were pushed around by both. They were Oregon in 2009.

UW will be an 8 or 9 win team this year, but I expect them to be right back in with the big boys in 2018.

Last year was an awful Pac-12, nothing more.

Partially right. 70 - 21 aside, the offense was Oregon any year soft, no argument. The PAC 12 was awful as well, but that's been the case for a very very long time which is why it's been such a long time since a "real" conference champion has emerged. Gotta go back to Carroll at USC for that event. But 8 or 9 wins this year? The conference still sucks and UW's schedule is again Oregon any year soft, they'll most likely win more regular season games than that and it will mean fuck all ... again.

Can we stop pretending like Stanford was a shit team last year just because they got rolled by WSU? They were definitely a flawed team but they weren't this fucking clown shoe shitshow people make them out to be. UW took a gigantic shit on their face and let them know they weren't winning the north, then they tucked their tail between their legs and got embarrassed by WSU in a game where they didn't give a shit about.

If you get rolled by WSU, you're a shit team.

    Simple fact.
