That's what happens when you drop NASCAR and pimp Soccer.

What they don't realize is that the left are the ones cutting their cords or never were subscribed anyway. Playing to the wrong audience has definitely greased their skids.Tripper_Johnson said: -

Now conservatives hate free market? Losing subscribers has nothing to do with politics at ESPN. And only a fucktard thinks the two are correlated.Tripper_Johnson said: -

Last time I checked virtually no one offers a la carte subscriptions, so unless people are dropping cable altogether based on ESPN's programming, this piece is bullshit.Tripper_Johnson said: -
I think it might be time for me to finally cut the cord. The only show I would miss is American Greed, but I'm sure I can find it on youtube if I try a little harder. Everything else is nothing but poison

And There's a reason why conservatives don't watch MSNBC for the most part. -
You can get the ESPN family and other pay TV channels streamed for about $25 per month.UWhuskytskeet said:

I'm hearing that You also can use your uncles password and stream the Watch ESPN app to your TV for free. It has nothing to do with people turning off due to being disgusted with networks libtardery but it's fact all the same. -
This one kinda sucks, he was good
-
That was my point, people are dropping cable for reasons other than hurt feelings.salemcoog said:

I might do the same when my Comcast contract is up this summer, but then they raise your internet rates to the point that you don't save any money after subscribing to a new streaming service. I'll likely do it anyway because fuck them. Monopolies are great for consumers. -
Have you seen NASCAR's ratings lately?salemcoog said:That's what happens when you drop NASCAR and pimp Soccer.

the network is paying an obscene amount of money to air games. Take a look:
NFL: $1.9 billion per year for 10 years. (Total: $15.2 billion)
NBA: $1.4 billion per year for nine years. (Total: $12.6 billion)
MLB: $700 million per year for eight years. (Total $5.6 billion)
College football: $470 million for 12 years: (Total $5.64 billion)
so espn shitcans 100ish regional reporters/analysts? i aint come here to play school but them maths dont really add up. espn saying "fuck reporting" and going all in with #embracedebate? -
At first I read that website as https://www.si.com/absolute-mustard/2017/04/26/espn-layoffsAZDuck said: -
Its ok with me as long as they got rid of dudes and average looking chicks and kept the hot bitches.

This just means the low-paid hotties move up to more camera time.
Hannah Storm being put out to pasture - though wood still hit. They axed Sage Steele because she was pulling big jack. Kaylee Hartung will move up the food chain. That's the way of the broadcasting world.

Ted Miller is a gigantic Utah loving faggot.

Everything looks like it's becoming "insider" content.
ESPN drove up the costs of sports with their monopoly attempts and made huge errors of judgement in their pricing power. The young generation doesn't want to pay $8-9/month to watch live sports. ESPN killed themselves in the foot.
ESPN will probably now go low budget with their reporting. Record a 30 minute news segment once or twice a day, and repeat each one 5-10 times a day. -
You'd think there's gotta be at least one good commentator out this bunch that UW can hire to replace Rondeau.
