Well you gotta give The ducks credit: they came to play and when you're playing a juggernaut like this Kansas team you have to bring your balls with you and Oregon has done that.
But ... Beware the second half.
I'll lose some money but it wouldn't break my heart for a Pac team to get to the 4.
I still got Kansas though. Let's see how Josh Jackson comes out in the second half.
A duck buddy of mine made a point before the tournament which has proven itself out: "people talk about Brooks, but we don't lose when Dorsey plays well."
Dorsey struggled at times in the Pac tournament, but he's been on fire the rest of March.
The two best teams in the tournament are playing tomorrow ...
When playing their best UNC and Kentucky are a cut above everybody else
I disagree. I think Kansas at its best is the best team in the country. At most, you could say Kentucky, UNC and Kansas are on par.
Teams lose. Duke and NC both lost to Miami this season, who got waxed by an ok MSU team.
Regular season Izzo and Tournament Izzo are two different animals.
Agrees; my point was that Miami was an ok team that got waxed by a every young Spartan team that itself got waxed the following week. That same Miami team beat both of their conference juggernauts. It's basketball; teams lose.
Oregon showed up tonight, played amazing off the glass, hit their shots because they can shoot, and Kasnas couldn't hit. It happens. But Kansas firing on all cylinders was the most dominant team I've seen play this year. Kentucky and UNC are right there too.
Dana fucking Altman is a defensive wizard. Held KU to 30 points below their tourney average with pressure and confused KU by switching in/out of various looks. Bell's presence made Jayhawk guards alter their shots and controlled the paint. And Dorsey is on fire. That 3 before half was a Fuck You to the KU crowd
I didn't think they would beat KU in KC, but fuck this team is so damn confident and imposing their will on their opponents

K will win it all.

kansas can erase this in no time though. I wouldn't start getting too excited down in the Uge.
Still ... If Bell keeps this up and Brooks limits the stupid .. Who knows?
But I don't know that WV could answer with baskets like Oregin.
We shall see
Kansas can't buy a 3 ...
Ducks should be good if they can get 3 buckets down the stretch
Gotta keep playing to win; not to not lose.
Brooks needs to not take shitty shots.
They deserved the win. Outplayed the best team in the tourney all but a few minutes.
Bell was a beast.
I'm usually like 1/4 at best
