Pick up 6 football players, a couple guys from the IMA and two dudes off Greek Row and you'll have a better nucleaus to build from than the 2 win stiffs.
20 years ago yes ... but the IMA talent has gone way down hill
20 years ago it was still just asians throwing elbows, hth.

OK - find two more non-drunk frat guys.
That may be a task, I know but there's a couple shooters over there somewhere. And you'll get some semi-hot sorority groupies back at the games.

20 Years ago my buddies and I from the neighborhood used to go to Denny Field and kill UW students. The courts were lighted. They'd ask us afterward what frat or dorm we were in then we'd kill their ego when we told them we were still in high school. I assumed most of them sucked because they were from the burbs.

The sad thing in today's basketball is that a damn good zone can really fuck up a lot of today's players because they don't value mid-range shots ... which are often the easiest to get against the zone.

There is not one player on this roster that I would cry over losing. Anyone that has been touched by that culture of the last 5 years needs to reevaluate their lives.
Bring on the change.
I'm hearing Coach Whoeveritis is tearing it all down
Dickerson undecided (he's staying MBA is inhis ear) Johnson he's staying and Crisp he's reppin home town, he's staying and if Coach Hop is who we hope he is , expect a huge improvement in Crisp
Dickerson is fucking awful...you should want him to leave to free up the scholarship
He's better than Tequilla and his IMA squad fill in
HTH
Yeah...I'm sure it would be super difficult to find a JC guy this offseason who can pick up 2 dumb fouls in the first 5 minutes and who's shooting form makes Bernie Sanders look like Ray Allen.

I'll trade layups for midrange shots all day.
Congrats on your captain obvious statement of the day ...
First thing defensively is to have a mindset of NO LAYUPS ... that's obvious to some but clearly missed by Romar and his team the last 5+ years as they gave up back door after back door.
The point I was trying to make is that to a good shooter a mid range shot isn't that different than a layup.
If your defensive strategy as a whole is to wall off the lane to take away layups and force teams to shoot over you with contested jumpers you're going to end up being a pretty damn good defensive team.
