All the doogs are coming out that only care about seeing Porter play (See below) and thinking he'll fix everything. This is actually the area Cohen deserves legitimate praise for not letting a recruit hold a program hostage.
I fully understand how talented Porter is, but in no way should an AD retain a shit coach because of him.

100% agree.
Let's just look at last year... top 10 recruiting classes were Duke, UK, MSU, NC St., Texas, Zona, UVA, UConn, Miss St., Auburn (per 247 composite).
5 of those teams missed the tourney, and of the 5 that made it only UK and Zona made the sweet 16.
Good recruiting classes don't guarantee success for good coaches, and don't instantly bail out mediocre coaches from bad seasons.
Art Edgerly is a dangerous person IMO and highlights exactly what is wrong with idiots being in a position where they can influence young kids (see Seattle AAU community for hoops) ...
There's a lot of great work going on at Tracy Ford's camp and how they are helping kids develop physically ...
But for a guy tied into Ford's camp to have such a ridiculous opinion when he likely knows nothing about Hopkins and is literally advocating for the players to run a major P5 sport that is supposed to be a cash flowing program is insanely FS
There was a very telling thread on dogman yesterday that was asking pro-Romar fans what their thoughts on Hopkins were. In all the xomments, there was not a single mention of Lorenzo's Romar, only Porter, Jr. When the only redeeming quality in a coach is one of his players, it's time to look elsewhere.

People seem to forget that Romar announced his presence by sitting Doug Wrenn's whiny ass on the bench, similar to Marcus Peters.

He tweeted this one at Cohen:
FTG, as always.
1. Russell Westbrook
2. Michael Jordan
3. Lebron James
art, the line to blow broy is over there behind the groupies
if you could now find a fire and jump in that would be great, thanks.
