Fake Weed (tm) makes people crazy and violent. Legalize weed so people don't buy fake weed.

The reaction of each user is "unpredictable," Glatter said. "We've had people with seizures requiring airway management and intubation. Other times, they can smoke it and become a little violent, seize once, and that's it. In other cases, they can become a little violent, a little agitated, and that's it. They wake up in a few hours."
Cool storey bro:

When I was in Japan a few years back there was a lot of fake weed being sold "legally" and openly in markets near the base where I was in suburban Tokyo. One kid smoked some, went to the club on base, and left, passing out in a ditch by the side of the road outside. He was a PFC or something like that. Full-bird colonel walks by, sees kid in ditch, walks over to offer him some help.

"Hey kid, you alright?"

BAM!

Kid comes up out of the ditch and lands a perfect uppercut on the colonel's chin. Knocked him out cold. Kid proceeds to pass back out in the ditch, vomiting all over both of them as he falls back down.

Colonel's wife witnesses whole thing, calls MP's.

MP's arrive on-scene, take both the COL and the PFC back to the MP station. Dickhead MP OIC makes COL blow into a tube, he was like .12, writes him up for public intoxication. There was no effective test for the fake weed the PFC was doing, and it was pretty clear that he was passed out and incoherent, so could they not get him for "assault on a superior commissioned officer" (specific intent offense), so he got an Article 15 for simple assault (general intent offense), but you can't get kicked out of the Army for that.

COL ends up with a locally-filed letter of reprimand, which gets pulled out of his local file last year when the Army was still looking for excuses to fire people, and he retires as a LTC. As far as I know, the PFC is still serving.
