Or at least give the kids the choice to go to the developmental league for a year, kind of like what baseball does with their minor league system. Let teams draft kids out of high school so they can have their draft rights while they spend a year in developmental.

Couple that with allowing kids that weren't drafted out of high school to still sign with a college and I think you're right on.

Given the kid didn't sign an agent. Kids need to know that once they sign an agent, they are shit out of luck.

That said, the baseball model would help NCAA basketball. It's a horrible product right now.
