I suspect in DDY's case - i.e., accident so bad you're in a wheel chair - the pills are legal and prescribed by a licensed MD. I had a shoulder/arm injury once that it required a 2 night stay in Harborview and they gave me enough pain pills to kill an elephant. Heavy duty opioids aren't all they are cracked up to be: try not being able take shit for like 2 weeks. I should have just had a bunch of bong rips and cold beer.
