Another thread got me thinking. La Familia der Handschuh rely solely on a toaster oven to do our browning of delicious breads and occasionally nuts. What about you?

The toaster oven is auce for warming up day old pizza or a half eaten Quizno's sub. But for basic bread jerbs the toaster uses a lot less energy. I'm green and shit.

Put the pizza slices directly onto a pan, place into oven, and then turn it on low broil for about 7 minutes or so.

As far as OP's question...I'm against toasters and toaster ovens. They take up counter space, look tacky, and are constantly riddled with bread crumbs. I suggest frying your toast on the stove.

You sound like a stay at home Dad who has all day to watch the food Network and home and garden channel.

I put the slice directly into the toaster oven touch down on the lever thing and in 1.5 minutes I have amazing Pizza I can carry out in a paper towel.
