I read somewhere that they have offered somewhere around 170 players. It's interesting because this is the exact opposite of the Chip Kelly strategy (which is very similar to Petersen's philosophy), and very similar to what Sark did.
Too add an extreme to that list... Michigan is currently at 172 offers. Last class, they had a total of 308 offers out. Harbaugh is definitely the king of over-offering.

It needs to be said that one of the things that got Helfrich fired was taking the Peterman approach to recruiting, and watching bigger schools poach his "long-time commits" at the last second.
Taggart can offer every high school kid in the country if he brings on a decent class and doesn't leave anyone hanging in the wind.

So Helfrich's recruits had visa issues and were promised a Canadian citizenship?
Has anyone else noticed the trend lately of UCLA offering kids in Washington VERY early on? I started noticing it last season and again this season. I have also noticed Michigan offers coming to players shortly after UW extends an offer.

If you believe the hype, Nansen and Harbaugh offered Austin Faoliu Canadian citizenship on signing day. Even though Black Sark already offered it to him to make him one of his talentless Arizona flips.
When it comes to this year's class, well, the president is awfully orange looking for February 2018.

UCLA 120
Oregon 110
USC 77
UW 37
They are going to be a bitch to recruit against because they have amazing recruiters on staff... other than that, they will suck.
