A UC-Berkeley poll shows that 74 percent of Californians want sanctuary cities ended; 65 percent of Hispanics, 70 percent of independents, 73 percent of Democrats and 82 percent of Republicans.

But the 26% that vote want it and have it as their primary need. So if sanctuary cities gives them 26% of the public instantly in there back pocket, of course liberal congressmen want them.

I think it depends on how it's enforced. I don't want to see stop, frisk and ask for your green card. Anyone that get's arrested should be DAO though.

States aren't going to receive tax-dollars if they disagree or don't conform with the Trump's dictates. I wonder how many times daily that he's going to use this threat in the next 4 years.

I have a feeling some states are going to start restricting entry at their borders like Cali used to do in the Great Depression when they eventually don't receive their government $$$.

We talk a lot about making leasier for law enforcement. Effectively policing communities where no one will talk might be impossible.
