    Sounds like you might need to take a walk for perspective.
    So it sounds like he may have some sense.

    MWC and even the Big 5 Conference schools don't hire coordinators from new coaches. Just doesn't happen. They all hire coordinators from established coaches (look at how many coaches spun off from Saban, Harbaugh, Bowden, etc...easy to see how Peterman becomes that kind of guy now that he's at a Big 5 school), promote their own coordinators (usually OCs) when their own coach leaves for a big school, or hire a successful coach from another dreck school. If he really wants to be a head coach taking the DC job under Wilcox would be career suicide...he needs to jump straight from Peterman.

    Add to that Cal's roster his utter garbage...it makes Sark's 5 or whatever WR classes look balanced. They have 22 WRs on roster, with something like 15 WRs recruited in just the 2015 and 2016 classes alone (and another one that just arrived on campus). You can't fix that roster in 2 years, and 2 years of shite defenses will take the shine off of Lake really quick.

    But if he wants to leave more power to him...

    jimmy lake da gawd has contract offers from every school in the country. that's far different than he gone to play school at cal.
