Best part is, we lost Jeff Choate (Who is fantastic)... Pete goes out and hires Malloe, our DL continues to improve and our recruiting holds steady there as well. But yes, Lake is our team!

Is completely shutting the down the vaunted air raid offense year after year with better players and better coaching a tick play by "trick play " Pete? At least, when our offense gets shut down by a great defense, we can be self critical and admit we sucked. I have no doubt that Choate and Malloe are good, but Kwiatkowski has churned out DL for years.

That was the true strength of Pete's Boise teams and probably why he had a quote when he was hired about recruiting and developing the DL as being the key to success.

The gap between UW and WSU is very large. And Jimmy Lake doesn't have a ton to do with beating WSU, all they did was sit guys in the zones like the Buffs did. Any secondary coach could figure it out. I expect another 28 or loss next year, whether Lake is on the defensive staff or grandpa Sankey.
