let's see the plan. sounds good in theory, especially with the drug negotiation part.

If he can get something like this through congress (assuming it's not some fraud and actually does what he says it will) good on him. I think he's gonna run into problems.

    No in Venezuela, they seize companies rather than respecting the private sector.

    Also if certain pharmaceutical companies don't like the pricing of Medicare and Medicaid, they don't have to sell to them.

    Why don't they just remove the over 65 provision from Medicare and up the tax rate. Get rid of medical insurance companies. Trump can get it done.

    Allow insurance companies to cross state lines. Inexpensive catastrophic plans, HSA accounts, tax deductible premiums and HSA savings. Free market capitalism will fix itself.

    That was one of the reasons why I thought Obamacare was poorly conceived, the penalties were a joke for young people, far too low for political reasons (such as Obama's 2012 reelection).

    An obesity tax would be nice too. The obese cost roughly 3x more to treat than people of relatively normal weight.
