James Sample? DaFuq? He started for those very good Louisville teams and was drafted pretty highAIRWOLF said:

One of mine was Jermaine Kelly. I loved his tape. He was a playmaker at WR in HS and I thought he would even be a good WR if he wanted to.
Marcus Farria - I thought he was a huge talent. Not a can't miss because he was a known risk but he looked like an explosive edge player to me.
I was also really excited about Deontae Cooper, prior to knee injury #1. His highlight tape was ridiculous.
Some others:
James Sample.
Josh Shirley.
Andru Pulu.
Cedric White.
Jayson Bass.
Jason Shelley. -
It's a difficult question to answer because for guys that missed, what were the reasons that they missed? Injury? Off the field stuff? Just sucked?
I think that's why you have to be so focused on always signing as talented of a class as you can because the reality is that there are going to be guys that flame out for one reason or another.
QB is one position that I think you have to also take with a grain of salt because not every QB that you recruit are you expecting to come in and be a starter in your program. It would be nice if that was the case ... but you're just not going to get elite QB after elite QB to come in and sit on the bench when they could be playing elsewhere.
Cyler Miles is a great example of what I meant by asking "why did the player miss?" Miles showed some glimpses in 2013 when he played with Price's injury. Then in 2014, he looked like an absolute mess and then left the team after the season. By all accounts, he had some significant off the field issues. So did he miss because his talent wasn't maximized? Did he miss because he couldn't keep himself clean off the field? Middleton the same way.
In a mature program, it's not really a question that you worry about because it really is next man up. -

Answer the fucking question!animate said:I don't even think this way ... because I think this current Petersen regime can actually develop players.
So, it's hard to say how Farria, Middleton etc ... would have developed under Petersen's team.
All I know is that they didn't pan out with previous programs ... so it doesn't matter to me.
Woulda, coulda, shouda.
I would bet dollars to donuts that Dante Pettis would have been mediocre under previous administrations ... not a knock on Dante - just a belief.
Or Gaines ... Vea ... anyone.
Ah, fuck off!

I thought Brostek was going to be really good...

I didn't realize this was Hardcore Cardinal. I was disappointed because he didn't pan out here.NeGgaPlEaSe said:

What do I care how high he got drafted? I'm not his agent. -
