Sark and Hurts will make a cute couple - Sarks is already giving him "tips"

    Once Sarks fills him up...

Hurts has a strong enough arm for all the lateral throws that will be coming his way. He just needs to play Jalen Hurts football.

Good opportunity here for Sark to do to Hurts what he did to Locker. Make him worse.

I'm thinking Hurts needs to become a traditional drop back pocket passer. outside linebacker

The bitter truth is Bama scores so much and does so much with their defense, and the skill players are so good

As long as Sark doesn't tell him to throw across his body off his back foot while running backwards it really won't matter...

If you think Jack was a 1st round pick under Ty then you've spend too much time in the peyote tent.

Sark is a pretty mediocre head coach, but a bad QB coach he is not.

Uhhhhh every QB at UW got worse under Sark, which ended up being only Locker and Price. Sark couldn't even recruit a good QB. Not a single Sark QB recruit ever starter for Sark sans Cyler Miles and Nick Montana for a couple filler games for Keith Prices injury.

But yea he's a great QB coach.
The numbers simply don't back this up. They all had a QBR number north of 120 and a TD:INT ratio over 2:1 while starting under Sark.

Total yards and YPA are two very useless stats to rate a QB by. There are many factors like handing the ball off to an NFL back like a Sankey, having better recievers one year to the next, throwing to butter fingers like Rastafarian Jenkins, or having less time to throw because of line issues.

Recruiting doesn't equal development or performance.

Can you guys see that a 65 year old Nick Saban is going to be bored of winning natties in 2-3 years and has hand-selected the next head coaching in waiting at Alabama exactly because Sark is now the 2nd best coach in the SEC.

Or Saban's ego is so huge that he picks a fuck up as successor to solidify his own legacy as the sole reason for Bama's dominance.
