It seems like it would be an interesting read. Apparently he trashes a lot of people. I have it on hold at the library but I might actually buy it.
What the fuck is a library?
I kind of want to read it too. It sucks he had to take out everything about the Kings.
Haha. I'm almost middle aged and I still do check out 3-10 books per year and I actually read magazines you open and flip through usually. If it's free at the library, why spend $15 or $20 on the book, Kindling, or Nook, or whatever the digital versions are? Newspapers I read online 90% of the time though.
I didn't know he had to omit the Kings part. That's too bad. He was a good coach. He's definitely up there with Lenny Wilkins as the greatest Sonic/Blunder coach of all time. He has always been kind of a quirky, headstrong jerk, but you could say that about tons of coaches.
I guess he called Carmello and someone else uncoachable and prima donnas and Bill Simmons fagged out about it on his podcast and went into SJW mode. He even called him borderline racist. Whatever. Karl is right and the new breed of me first NBA players are the problem.

I thought Simmons was being a bit of a pussy too but then I heard Bomani Jones talk about the subject yesterday on the Lebatard show and he made some really good points on it being racist.
I also don't know what year you're living in with this "new" breed of me first NBA players. That's some @HarveyRoad level ignorance. Seriously, it's not 2006 anymore. You might as well be complaining about cornrows.
Bomani Jones is always interesting. When he was talking about the Bowden remarks on fathers in the home he started out on gender, not race, which I hadn't thought of. As in, is having a shitty father around better than no father.
I don't always agree but he isn't just throwing out bullshit takes like I do

Bomani Jones is another SJW. It's not racist. Could Karl have toned it down and edited it to be less abrasive? Sure. Should he have? Yeah, maybe. Are there awesome people who had single parents, or divorced parents? Sure of course. On the whole though, he's correct.
The NBA still isn't close to what it was. It's not as bad as it was in the 2000s, but it still sucks compared to the NFL as far as entertainment goes. After the best 10 or 12 teams, it gets bad. On those bottom feeder teams, guys are totally out for themselves with the one on one shit, especially in March and April. That's even true to an extent with the top teams. Watch some games from the 80s and 90s and compare those to today's games.
