Ty Jones, WR – The toughest matchup among all the receivers, Jones has so much size and length, shows off a great catch radius and if the quarterback makes a great throw, he's never covered because of his ability to make acrobatic catches. He's a Washington commit.
Marlon Tuipulotu, DT – A heavy-handed, physical interior defender that can operate effectively on the edge as well. You know you're getting a solid rep and a high motor on every play out of the Washington commit.
Salvon Ahmed, DB – One of the fastest guys in attendance, Ahmed is expecting to play an offensive role at Washington similar to Chico McClatcher but at this event he's playing cornerback and he looked outstanding on Monday. The only problem was that he was often matched up with fellow Washington commit Ty Jones who beat great coverage on a few different occasions with acrobatic catches. -

Somewhat surprising no Fozzy on that list. Fozzy is a technician who is oh so fucking nimble on his feet, but if I had to nitpick, he's not as physical as you would expect a 6'6" 310 pound five star guy to be.HuskyClaws said:http://washington.247sports.com/Article/US-Army-All-American-Bowl-West-top-performers-Day-1-50226747

Little played LT, while Fozz played LG for most of the day from what I read. Then they moved Little to RT and moved Fozz to LT. So that says a lot even though supposedly Little had the best day, he was still moved to RT.RoadDawg55 said:

Ryan Bartow should also revise his tweet. Ty Jones is a 3 star and Scott Ecklund is adamant about that

Barton Simmons reporting that Ty Jones has been the biggest matchup nightmare for the DBs out there, a true deep threat, and probably the biggest surprise so far.
But how wasn't this blatantly obvious when watching his Hudl? -

So, he's blowing up at the Army All American practices when the best of the best is around. Top 3 receiver according to some people. Playing and beating 5 star recruits going to the best football schools.AEB said:

But.
During the regular season in Utah he "disappears against top competition"?
Hmmmm. Something doesn't add up here and it ain't Ty Jones. -
Sounds like we should send Jimmy Lake into whatever Mormon shithole Timpview is located in.animate said:

I guess all he needed was a decent QB. He is enrolling early, I hope he gains another 10-15 pounds over camp/summer and plays around 205-215

Top performers from day 2
Marlon Tuipulotu, DT, Oregon
He diced up the East offensive line for much of the afternoon because of his strength, hands and balance. He's a Washington commit though schools have continued to press for him. Tuipulotu is the No. 97 player per the 247Sports Composite.
Ty Jones, WR, Utah
One of the continued revelations of the event, Ty Jones continues to be one of the biggest matchup problems and deep threats regardless of who you put in front of him. The Utah native is committed to Washington. Jones is the No. 414 player per the 247Sports Composite.
