Last time he played, every fucking WR on the team sucked. Pettis sucked, McClatcher sucked too. This year Pettis was very good. McClatcher was a weapon at times.Baseman said:
Umm, lenius sucks.RoadDawg55 said:
Why not both.gif? What about the year after. True freshman are great when they are ready. They aren't to be relied on.Baseman said:
If Ty Jones enrolls this spring, gets on Roids and has a Rapp like camp, we don't need Lenius.RoadDawg55 said:
Agree about Lenius. Wanting him gone is going to look really FS.TTJ said:Ah yes, our most fucktarded offseason tradition: Forgetting how well this staff develops its players.
They're never gonna get through to 100% of the roster. But their track record speaks for itself. If this staff was as quick to give up on players as we (?) are, UW would have missed out completely on some good -- and a couple great -- junior and senior seasons: Kevin King, Tani Tupou, Damion Turpin, Cory Littleton, Andrew Hudson, and Darrell Daniels, to name just a handful. Even Potatoes O'Brien rose up and made a contribution this year, for fuck's sake.
Why, the fuck, would you ever write off a player with as much raw talent as Lenius? Especially now that he has a real position coach to work with?
He should have redshirted his first year. He caught 27 balls his 2nd year. Anyone remember his catch against USC?
Chest had some stat where he caught 74% of his targets, which was the highest on the team.
Every other WR sucked under Pease too. We need a big WR. Lenius is big. Sometimes you guys are fucking retarded with the group think.
Lenius has talent. We don't have a lot of guys who can catch in traffic. Pettis is about it. It wasn't a strength for Ross, McClather is a midget, Daniels couldn't. This team needs guys like Ty Jones and hopefully Lenius that can make plays even when tightly covered.
I stuck my neck out for King (pun intended) when this board wanted to light him on fire. He sucked at safety but had too much talent to give up on. I feel the same about Lenius. -
No. Just a humble brag.guntlove said:
