Ah yes, our most fucktarded offseason tradition: Forgetting how well this staff develops its players.

They're never gonna get through to 100% of the roster. But their track record speaks for itself. If this staff was as quick to give up on players as we (?) are, UW would have missed out completely on some good -- and a couple great -- junior and senior seasons: Kevin King, Tani Tupou, Damion Turpin, Cory Littleton, Andrew Hudson, and Darrell Daniels, to name just a handful. Even Potatoes O'Brien rose up and made a contribution this year, for fuck's sake.

Why, the fuck, would you ever write off a player with as much raw talent as Lenius? Especially now that he has a real position coach to work with?

Agree about Lenius. Wanting him gone is going to look really FS.

He should have redshirted his first year. He caught 27 balls his 2nd year. Anyone remember his catch against USC?

Chest had some stat where he caught 74% of his targets, which was the highest on the team.

Every other WR sucked under Pease too. We need a big WR. Lenius is big. Sometimes you guys are fucking retarded with the group think.
If Ty Jones enrolls this spring, gets on Roids and has a Rapp like camp, we don't need Lenius.

Why not both.gif? What about the year after. True freshman are great when they are ready. They aren't to be relied on.

To catch up to Bammer and win a playoff, this team needs more mutants. Guys like Vea, Gaines and Qualls. Guys like Ross, Murphy and McGrew. Ahmed and Tuipulotu. Levi and Benning. King and Miller, Daniels and Baker. McGary, Adams, and Burleson. Mathis and Victor.

Lenius has done jack shit in his time at UW. I'm sure he's a source of frustration. But Lenius is a mutant. You don't just give up on guys like him.

He's a mutant? Lenius is a tall guy with decent hands, and that's about it. He's not even close to being a physical specimen, and I'm really surprised to see people here still give a shit about him. I'll be even more surprised if he shows up for spring ball.

Last time he played, every fucking WR on the team sucked. Pettis sucked, McClatcher sucked too. This year Pettis was very good. McClatcher was a weapon at times.

Lenius has talent. We don't have a lot of guys who can catch in traffic. Pettis is about it. It wasn't a strength for Ross, McClather is a midget, Daniels couldn't. This team needs guys like Ty Jones and hopefully Lenius that can make plays even when tightly covered.

I stuck my neck out for King (pun intended) when this board wanted to light him on fire. He sucked at safety but had too much talent to give up on. I feel the same about Lenius.

King is, and was, a good kid. Lenius, so far, is a wasted talent pussy who looks like another Gardenhire, without the production, waiting to happen.

I'll agree we don't have the stud who can go across the middle or push a DBs shit in. I'd prefer Peterman broom Lenius and use the open scholarship on someone else.

I think people would have no problem with Lenius if he was willing to block. I see Dante (not the strongest receiver we have) put a honest effort when it comes to blocking. Blocking is mostly driven by effort, and I have not see Lenius put a decent block in 2 years he played (I dare someone to prove me wrong)

This was all expected, at least in my mind. Hopefully Vea stays...he could use one more year.

Maybe King can move to DL next year?

Nobody gave two fucks whether King was a good kid back in Pete's first year. There were maybe 3 posters here who liked him.

Gardenhire was a decent CB and good special teamer. We will have to agree to disagree.

Get rid of Nik Little and KJ Young. Not Lenius.

Not if he is actually the 2nd best QB. If he's not, than yeah.

I think he's gone because he is the 2nd best QB. He wants to play.

I am hoping that our QB coach is developing our 3 back-ups to be better than mediocre.
