You could have played 2 perfect games wrapped into one and still would have lost. Bama sleepwalked through about 3 quarters. They are just that much more dominant than you. Roll Tide.

The beautiful thing is? UW will likely get another crack at them next year.
Plus there is some bad blood.
Would be thrilled to see Alabama and Washington be hated rivals.
Bama fans were generally friendly before the game dicks after the game. The worst kind of fan.

Well we will see if Washington gets another crack at Bama. 1 good year doesn't quite make a dynasty.
I liked the fact that alabama players seemed pissed at the huskies, like they were threatened. Some soft pot smoking liberals from Alaska were under their skin for seemingly no reason. I'm not sure I've seen alabama players act that way vs another team?
I don't know what that means but it's something. Or its nothing.

It's probably because with the game over a Washington offensive lineman pulled Reuben foster down by his face mask then shoved his helmet down so j Allen hit him then after the interception left 2 Washington players lying on the field. Not sure making those guys mad was real smart.

So what you're saying is that Alabama didn't like the fact that in a 24-7 game UW's players were still playing as if it was a 1 score game ...
The "pulling down" of Foster isn't anything uncommon to any play throughout the game and it isn't uncommon when an OL gets a defensive player on the ground they finish the block until the whistle.
Allen came in to protect Foster ... Foster threw a punch ... Harris came in to protect Adams. That's football ... whatever.
Blindside blocking guys like Alabama did at the END of that return is uncalled for and dirty football. It's one thing to compete hard and play to the final whistle ... it's another to intentionally try to injure players.

Actually pulling someone down by the face mask is illegal just like the "blind side" as you say. To me they were borderline. And don't worry bama has no problem playing to the whistle.

I didn't see Foster pulled down by the facemask ... what I saw was being pulled down by the chest and/or the inside of collar/pads around the chest. That being said I haven't looked at it close enough to completely conclude one way or another ...
Regardless, illegal hands to the face, etc. happen all the time. You can look at just about every single football game and see something similar to that play happen in the trenches (and much worse).
The way Alabama reacted to that play and the final play just showed me how much the defensive players for Alabama didn't respect anything about Washington and their offense ... they were pissed that Washington was playing hard to the final whistle and that they possibly would be threatening their ability to play in the title game or pro prospects. They showed their displeasure at the end by showing that they were the big bullies in the room and how big their big swinging dicks were. That's their prerogative ... but given that Washington has ZERO track record of playing dirty throughout the season it's very difficult for me to conclude in any way, shape, or form that Alabama's actions at the end of the game were consistent with being dirty football.
And if I need anything more to support my opinion, take the reaction of the crowd as Alabama players are being escorted off the field afterwards going crazy, chanting SEC, and proving the points that were made before the season that NOBODY knows how to play football like Alabama ... and right now Alabama has earned that right.
There will come a day when Saban retires and we'll see who Alabama gets to replace him ... if they fall backwards there will be a lot of people looking to rub Alabama's face in their defeats ... we'll see how Alabama acts and what they say then.

Oh that's a fact. Thing is though, Alabama has already been through it. They owned the 70s until early 80s. The late 90s and early 2000s they were awful. Thing is Saban can't be replaced. There isn't another Saban. He will outwork any other coach around so when he leaves, Bamas reign will probably be done, at least in the capacity they are now. I will be the first to admit the defensive line and defense in general from Washington was very impressive. I get your point, I don't know what happened exactly on the field but I can tell you j Allen hasn't said a thing all year about anyone playing dirty and he did about Washington. I wasn't on the field, I don't know. But dirty play isn't tolerated with Saban either, he hates stupid penalties.

Six or seven blockers on the line with a lead man running down hill might have worked.
Stanford will be the only team from the Pac to ever stand up against Bama while Saban is there.
