No. Tough to call plays when the OL is getting manhandled by 4 guys, and they can shut down the run with 6. Allowed them to blanket any routes in the intermediate range. Then they knew the deep ball wasn't a threat with the instant pressure and Browning's lack of a cannon.
Seems like you need either a dual threat QB to slow the rush down to more of a contain, or an elite offensive line. We had neither.
Don't think so. Like our offensive playcalling was clearly imperfect, but it wasn't totally fucked. Take back that pick 6 then maybe. That was a game changer and sure it was on the offense, but I feel that was more a Browning issue perhaps. Like maybe Tedford outright stops that from happening but I feel this was more on the d'ébène having a good but not exceptional game. We really needed to help the offense out. The defense is championship caliber but the offense isn't and needs their help. Even prefecture sticking to its strengths we neededthe offense to play beyond its usual capabilities to win this game. This is seperated in my mind from the typical atrocious playcalling.
I think so. The difference after he left was painfully obvious. We wouldn't have been blown out, I know that.
"He was a consultant, you idiot. All this bashing is ridiculous. He assesses game tape. He isn't even allowed contact with the kids. If you don't understand the difference between a coach and Tedford. . . "
No way. He's not overcoming the men (Bama D) vs. Boys (our O) talent gap on display today. We could still be playing that game and wouldn't have 17 let alone 24 points.

WHO COULD HAVE SEEN THAT COMING?!?!
Fuck you, Doog - the obvious always escapes you
I remember thinking at the half when it was 17-7 "I'm not sure if We? can even score 17 points"
Sure as fuck we didn't.
