Sark cant coach the players as a consultant. This article just outed Bama.

"Sarkisian's presence has been more noticeable at practice since the news dropped. On Sunday, he was watching the running backs intently. Then, he sidled up to the receivers and started chatting with ArDarius Stewart...."

Was he wearing a head set on the sidelines?

Gonna be tough to convince anybody that Sark was doing any actual coaching.
I heard he coached them up good at bar after the SECCG.

TLDR: Sark got chummy with the wide receivers and looked to see which of the running backs is best at pass protection.

The SEC and ACC have different rules than the PAC. You are allowed to pay players, provide them hookers and blow (as long as it's only assistant coaches at the party), and definitely have no limits on number of assistant coaches. There ain't no salary cap on their dollars.
