we're down 27 and we have the ball for 5 seconds and jack up a contested 3. that is what we call well oiled machine.
I'm loving Romar looking like he is trying to coach right now
Like what can he tell them tonight lol
It isn't about tonight ...
It's not a team that plays together or for each other ... that starts with a coach.
Calling a timeout at any point in the 1st half and questioning their manhood would have been a good start ... but then again that comes back to having a plan to execute ... or having enough respect from your players that they don't just laugh you out of the huddle ...
It's a circular argument at this point with Romar ... which is why he should have been fired well before this year's debacle.
"There are 351 Division I men's college basketball teams. If any of them has had a worse defensive possession than this -- which, again, came after a made field goal! -- we haven't seen it."
I barely watched when we were good. What makes anyone think I have seen one minute of UW basketball in the last three years? I'd rather pound my dick with a tenderizing mallet than watch anymore Romarball.
Losing to the second round flame out 45% foreigner Zaggots on national TV isn't special.
Gonzaga hasn't lost in the 2nd round since 2014 as an 8 seed to 1 seed Arizona. Since then they've been to the Elite 8 and Sweet 16 == and looked like it last night.

But my hope is enough booster money comes in to get Pete and his D coaches the $ they've earned, and there's still enough left over to buy Romar out.
When guys like Softy/Fetters are ? where Romar is with this team, that's the final nail in the coffin imo.
edit ESPN is pouring the vitriol on. Gorgeous:

I turned the game on, saw the 20 point deficit, and turned it back off.
I haven't been this disinterested in Husky basketball since Bender was the coach.
