The stats are good, but keep in mind they didn't play any high octane offenses in November. LSU is down right retarded on offense, and Auburn was missing their passing qb and their battering ram. This leaves Miss State who is 41st in total offense, and Chattanooga who was the fcs team Bama used to warm up for Auburn. Bama holds teams to about 20 points below their average. This tells me UW should score about 24 points. I bet Petersen can pull a score out of his ass with a trick play. To me the key for UW is to hold the Tide to under 30. Bama averages about 40 points per game. Is Bama a better team, probably. Does UW has legit chance, absolutely. Nobody has run effectively on Bama's defense in 2 years now, but Ole Miss qb Chad Kelley and Arkansas qb Allen each lit Bama's secondary for over 400 yards passing each. Ole miss put up 42 points and Arky put up 30. Neither of the teams have as good of an offense as UW. They would've beat Bama those nights if they had UW's defense. This game will come down to Browning and if UW can protect him. If they can,he can light up Bama secondary.
Arkansas started scoring once we were up 42-17 in the 3rd quarter and Fat Bielema left his starters in against our backups.
