A couple of queations: Who's the backup for Browning? How many DL does the Husky D rotate in a game? (In otherwords, how's the DL depth?)
Browning backup is plunger.
We? rotate at least 4 DT's: Gaines, Vea and Qualls are fucking awesome, Turpin is surprisingly serviceable. We? don't really use DE's, more of an OLB type position, and we rotate them pretty freely as well (we rotate the whole defense pretty much). The OLB spots are easily the worst on the defense, but that's like saying 2012 is Alabama's worst national championship.
This will be the best defense Alabama has faced rather easily.
Thanks and your response brings up another question. No doubt UW is a very talented team and have solid players, but, how in the hell did SoCal beat UW? Was UW missing key players? I'm not trying to compare Bama/SoCal game to your game. Totally different time frame and isn"t a good indicator at all. But what happened in that game??
Uhh huh. Florida has a better defense than Washington by far, and is ranked #6 even with a pathetic offense that can't keep them off the field. Maybe you should go to You Tube and watch the game and then reassess that dumb post. Or maybe you should call Kiffin and let him explain why we have so many short yardage losses which all come early in the game when teams are stacking the box against us. There is functioning method to to it. A quick explanation is that he runs shit loads of bubble screens and jet sweeps early against stacked boxes to tire the defense out. This results in a lot of tackles for short losses that soon turn into hugh gains. Dude Bama is #1 after playing the 3rd toughest SOS in the country. There is no way you can compare Bama and Washington's stats as you were doing since the schedules are not even close to equal.
Those aren't to tire a defense out. Those are because Kiffen and Sark are shitty play callers.
Yes, that's why we've won 25 straight. Neither one can call plays for shit. Sark isn't allowed to coach yet.

The defense was let down by the failure of the offense. Darnold played great, avoided the rush and was extremely accurate especially on third down. But they only scored 17 on offense. They got a pick 6
Browning started to be the loser of old in this game and still hasn't come back. If he plays like shit we lose YUGE

Offensive coordinator had brain cramps. Worst called game in biggest moment of the year. Abandoned the run way too early. Pretty much everybody played poorly. And yeah USC is a much better team since they went to Darnold and remembered they're all 5 stars.
If the UW that played SC shows up in Atlanta it's going to be really ugly. I think/hope that won't be the case.

When kiffin is the biggest argument for something you should step away from the keyboard and re-assess your position. I'm not saying that bama isn't better than UW, but nobody in the world is scared of kiffin and his failure(s) at UT, USC, Raiders and only found the light under the microscope of nick.
Work on your argument and come back for another try please.

The real X factor is Jake Browning's douche level. History shows that in order to beat a Saban defense you must be an incredible douche. Johnny Manziel, Chad Kelly, Cam Newton, Stephen Garcia, Jordan Jefferson. All giant douches.
I've never heard an interview with Browning but if he's a likeable guy it could be a long day for Washington.

Yep. Western Kentucky conference champs 3 straight years and #37th ranked Defense which is better than all but 2 teams Washington played. Chattanoiga #11 ranked FCS and in the playoffs. Kent St we play as a favor because it's Sabans alma mater.
The douche level in that gif is slightly concerning. But it isn't quite fighting-high-school players-on-your-week-off, kicking-a-serviceman-in-the-face, or simply being Cam Newton level of douche.

How have tax accountant-like QBs fared against Saban?

Wrong. Florida, LSU and Auburn are better. All are ststistically ahead of of right up there with Washington and yet none have Washingtons excellent offense. They all 3 spend inordinate amounts of time on the field and still best Washington's defensive stats. What"s more our offense faces the two best defenses in the nation at every practice - Bama's starters and Bama's reserves. LMAO!

Unlike all those teams you mentioned, Washington's starters have had to play like 3 second halves all year.
Hope that helps.
And yes Bama faces great tests in practice. They haven't seen a secondary like ours all year though.
This game will be determined by whether UW can protect Browning long enough for him to hit some shots and keep his confidence. Our receivers can absolutely beat your secondary over the top. UW's offense >>>>>>> Ole Miss's offense. But Alabama's pass rush may render all that moot.
That's the biggest matchup to watch. Our defense is going to hold your offense under 21, our offense could be great or give up another 20 though.
How have tax accountant-like QBs fared against Saban?
They tend to be good at diagnosing what the defense is doing wrong but ultimately end up sitting on the couch at night drinking whiskey and posting on message boards because their job is boring as hell.

Exactly. That's why you have good stats. Blowouts over weak teams, and I'm not just talking about Portland St and Rutgers either. Your only impressive win was over Colorado.

You have it backwards. Our? stats are much better in the first half when we still gaf. If it weren't for emptying our bench our defensive stats would be much better. Look at first half versus second half.
And according to the playoff committee our wins over "weak" teams Stanford and Utah are better than all but three of your wins, and two of those (Auburn and Florida) are barely above Stanford and Utah, so I guess you really only beat one good team also.

I'm getting a huge Jimmy Clausen vibe from this, I don't know why
