    wow, that is a list full of unproven and high risk coaches...it's almost as if Oregon is prepared to throw a ton of money into a lottery ticket and if it doesn't work out, they'll do it again in 2-3 years.

    You would've though Oregon would have a plan before firing him. Recruiting season isn't over and the longer it goes the worse it gets.

    It is odd to me they would give Rich Brooks a 17 year plan to lose the Rose Bowl.

    But pull the plug on Helfrich who clearly had a 5 year plan to lose the Natty twice.

    Success at any program, even a major one, is not as easy as it looks. Go ask Illinois about their past few hires. Or UCLA for that matter.
