I stopped reading after "So Does Jen C. Try to Get Montana Off?"

Not all at once, maybe 4-6 players at a time.

I read the thread title as "So Does Jen C. Try to Get Montana Off?" and though perhaps finally she was going to show her tits.

That really should be written into Peterman's new contract - obligatory flash for conference titles.

Just random hunting around. UW and Vanderbilt
both have FCS opponents next year Sept. 9. Yeah
tons of details to get by but hell would much rather
see an SEC club than a Montana walkover.

Why would Vandy do this? They aren't in a position to be setting themselves up with a likely loss when they are doing what they can to get to 6+ wins on the year.

$. A home and home with UW is likely to be a
bigger moneymaker than Alabama A and M.
Also generates more interest for your season
ticket holders which I'm sure Vandy would be
interested in. Point taken about a likely loss
but bowls are taking 5 win teams now, not to
mention that any bowl Vandy goes to is a likely
    money loser anyway.

There is zero.point.zero chance of Vanderbilt agreeing to this.

SEC schools are fine with one scheduling major conference opponent and 3 mid-major/I-AA opponents every year to go with their 8 conference games.

And the people who talk about college football on ESPN seem fine with SEC schools doing this, too.

FYI: Here is Alabama's non-conference schedule for the next three seasons.

    2017
    Florida State (neutral site)
    Fresno State
    Colorado State
    Mercer

    2018
    Louisville (neutral site)
    Arkansas State
    UL Lafayette
    Citadel

    2019
    Duke (neutral site)
    Southern Mississippi
    TBA
    TBA

Bama has a lot of wiggle room to get away
with that shit. We don't. Bama will draw full
houses playing the local high school team.
We won't. Even if we were a perennial top 5
team, Husky fans won't come watch shit.
    A, B, C schedule please. Montana, North
Dakota, Sac. State and Montana again
are F,F,D,F. That's just buttfucking your
    fan base.

We are entering the neutral site game era against Auburn in 2018. Baby steps. Those neutral site openers seem to be the best way to get a decent game. I miss home and homes with good teams.

I understand Sark and Woodward scheduling
this dross to pad the schedule. Time for a mid course correction though.
When the situation changes, good admins adjust. I was not a fan of
the Jen C. hire. She'd go up massively in my worthless opinion by getting
this garbage off the schedule. She's got a great chance this off season to
goose the season ticket base. Leaving dreck on the schedule doesn't
    help that.

Montana is a solid FCS team, much better tradition than Portland St. They normally contend for the Big Sky. The FCS opponent should only be the first team played as kind of a warm up, but book only a good one with a lengthy winning tradition. actually since the huskys are a contender now, and this may shock some, I think it's time to drop these FCS games! It looks bad for the idiot playoff committee later. But, for mid-level PAC teams, I see no problem with it so long as you book a solid FCS club, and it's first on the schedule. That gives the FCS teams some pub, and is about like a mid or lower level FBS team.
