But let's not pretend we don't appreciate those up votes. In the old days, we'd all make a shitty post here or there, only to check on it later and see 0 up votes/chincredibles. And it was painful...we'd assume everyone else saw the lack of up votes, and were secretly laughing and making fun of us. Then we'd start to panic, knowing that we failed to be cool in front of Hardcore Husky posters, AKA people who we have to hang out with on the internet because nobody wants to hang out with us in real life.
These days we've got it a little easier. Sometimes I post something, and then think to myself "damn, I totally just shit posted"... and honestly I probably did. But that feeling never lingers for very long...within minutes, seconds even, I can expect an up vote from @backthepack. It's the next best thing to actually putting in the effort to improve my posting skills.
