Penn State barely beat Temple, lost to Pitt, and lost to Michigan by 40. That's like a 10-2 Stanford barely beating San Diego State, losing to Utah, and then basically performing like they did vs. UW. The East Coast media would have them way down at 8th or 9th at best and Herbfag wouldn't be pumping them up on national tv.

In their defense they are kind of like USC. The team that got blown out by Michigan and lost to Pitt is not the same team now. They are the weakest possible playoff team imo, but they are good.
