Our offense last night...

It was impressive to see us run it down their throats. I did not expect that from our "gifted" play caller. Our play calling on pass plays seemed strange and Jake didn't execute well. I am really surprised that Pettis, Ross and Chico were pretty much shut down.

In games like these where they are able to lock down your main targets it seems like a stud pass-catching TE would be helpful. Do we have one of those? Maybe one coming in?

    No and yes.

We need to figure out a short passing game because ours sucks when teams want to take away the outside guys. Colorado is really good in the secondary though.

I agree but I think it's worth pointing out that the win last night was Bama-esque. Bama has a freshman quarterback who has struggled at times this year. They win by being better than their opponents in the trenches and in the other phases of the game, particularly on defense. That was UW last night.

Agreed. No complaints on smith from here. I was surprised he stuck with it.

Colorado has held everyone to under 50%
completions this year. Give them credit.
