Excalibur is the reason I bought my first DVD player in 1999.
( I actually bought a LaserDisc player in 1992, but the spindle was slightly tilted so the big discs would get scratched by rubbing against one of the plastic support pads. Still used the machine as a 5-disc CD changer for several years, but really bummed that I couldn't play my bigass LaserDiscs without derstroying them)
