I've come around, if we ran the ball like a normal team, we could beat anyone and at least maybe not get plungered by Bama.

I think Uw is more likely to panic if trailing and chuck the ball.WilburHooksHands said:I've come around, if we ran the ball like a normal team, we could beat anyone and at least maybe not get plungered by Bama.

Left to his own devices, Babushka's first series against Bama would look like this:
1st down: bubble screen -4 yards
2nd down: reverse 3 yard gain, only Ross's athleticism prevented a 5 yard loss.
3rd down: long bomb badly underthrown and either intercepted or knocked away -
The most memorable part of Apple Cup was at some point in the 4th after they were done sucking off Falk to make the broadcast interesting, both booth guys had this moment of clarity and said "but honestly if Washington just ran the ball they could literally beat anyone in the country."

Seeing as the drive started on Bamas 1 yd line after Sidney Jones jumped the out route and just missed a pick-six, should Peterman go for it? Or kick the field goal?DerekJohnson said:Left to his own devices, Babushka's first series against Bama would look like this:

Go for it: Fuller Wildcat call on 4th and goal. Nobody expects you to run wildcat on 4th and goal with your true freshman 4th string wide receiver with the national championship on the line.

It would actually go to one of the tight ends in dissly/amuju/sample to fool everyone even more, except the 11 Alabama NFL bound guys on defense who blow it up for a 5 yard loss.LaZoris said:Go for it: Fuller Wildcat call on 4th and goal. Or throw all the way across the field sideways to the fullback, because nobody ever covers the fullback.LaZoris said:Go for it: Fuller Wildcat call on 4th and goal. the double pass. Browning to Pettis to Daniels
one yard bomb. Worked every time this year
until Pettis fucked it up against SC. Would be the
first 1 yard double pass for a TD in the history of college
football.
